I have started work on the Game Boy Color Advance! So far I have the Game Boy disassembled, and some of the case is cut up and super glued together.
Essentially, the process of which I will be going about this project, is to cut the case, and glue it together in the new shape, extend and rotate the screen with a 50 pin 1" wide zif cable. And move buttons, and the cartridge slot. I will also have to mould some corners from the existing parts and make them with epoxy putty. I may coincided making a mould of the whole thing, and using injection moulding to form the final case.
For moving the buttons, the current plan is to create a button board with a prototype PCB and conductive paint.
Here are some pictures of my current progress. I hope you enjoy.
